    On April 27, 2017, NPCR announced the release of GenEDITS Plus v5. This major update of the EDITS reporting tool is fully compatible with, and replaces, its predecessor.

    The delivery of GenEDITS Plus v5 completes the new generation of EDITS50 tools: Edit Engine, EditWriter and GenEDITS Plus, all of which may be downloaded from the CDC-NPCR website: https://www.cdc.gov/cancer/npcr/tools/edits/edits50.htm.

    GenEDITS Plus includes a comprehensive Help file; press F1 to open it in Microsoft Word. (Tip: The help file can also be opened with Microsoft WordPad.) Whether you are new to GenEDITS Plus or an experienced user, we urge you to take a few minutes to review the Help file. Doing so will get you up and running in no time.

    As always, you may post questions and comments in this forum. For comments about GenEDITS Plus specifically, please use the sub-forum User–people working with EditWriter 5 and GEPv5.
